Pastor Dr. Derek Berry's Bio

Derek grew up in Houston, TX, and came to faith in Christ at the age of fifteen after hearing a television teaching series on the gospel. He has been married to his beautiful best friend, Krystal, since 2015. They have three daughters: Neriah, Gemariah, and Seraiah. Derek completed a pastoral internship in Washington, D.C. under Mark Dever in 2022, graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with his MDiv in Christian Ministry in 2019, and from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with his Doctor of Ministry in 2025. Derek is passionate about expository preaching, sound theology, and the local church.
